This report lists your winners and losers & starting out is best to be filtered by department. This report will identify those products that your store is over-stocked with. Ordering on a weekly basis, the retailer only requires an inventory level to meet historical weekly sales. (see additional info on MMS / TRA purchasing) All additional inventory is considered overstock and reducing this excess inventory will improve cash flow and more important will reduce space allocation that will permit the retailer to expand inventory selection thus increasing sales volume with new products.

This report should be run on a weekly basis and starting off filtered by the worst to the best turns by department. Those products on the top of the report are the ones that needs immediate attention.
